Summer Favorites

Find relief from the summer heat with these refreshing summer favorites.

Who doesn't love brownies for BBQ's and potlucks?  This lavender fudge brownie mix is easy to make and is a hit at any gathering.  Top with your favorite fresh berries and ice cream.

Ice cold Lavender Lemonade is a must have at summer gatherings.  Light and refreshing, make sure to have a big pitcher.  Throw in some dried lavender sprigs and buds for extra color.

Pour lavender mint tea over ice for some cool refreshment while lounging by the pool or in the shade in your garden.  Add lavender honey for some extra sweetness.  

For those who enjoy making their own BBQ sauce, try our lavender honey in your recipe.  Our honey is not "infused" with lavender, rather it is pure raw honey from the hives on our lavender farm.  The bees gather the nectar from the lavender flowers which gives this honey a less intense sweetness compared to traditional wildflower honey.

Lavender Fresh Farm's own homemade all natural fly repellent spray needs to be part of your camping, hiking, and gardening kit.  Farm owner Richard developed this recipe using only pure essential oils with a jojoba oil base.  This spray works on those pesky "no-see-ums" and little flies that constantly buzz around ears and eyes.  He added a splash of citronella to help keep the mosquitos at bay as well.

Our homemade soap and shampoo bars are fabulous year-round, but especially wonderful in the summer.  These soaps use organic products and our own essential oil.  For the inevitable sunburns these soaps are soothing and feel so good on the skin.  The shampoo bar is amazing on a tender sunburned scalp.
