This is the classic lavender used in sachets, perfumes, wands, etc.  Round and compact habit, the foliage is grey-green.  The buds are violet flushed green opening with deep violet flowers appearing in July and August. Dutch Lavender thrives in full sun and loose, well-drained soil. Little to no fertilization best. To keep the plants compact prune soon after flowering.

Lavender Fresh Farm has about 120 of the Dutch Lavender variety that we harvest primarily for bouquets.  The long stems and deep color make gorgeous fresh bouquets and hold their fragrance and color when dried.
