This lavender is favored for dried flowers and buds.  Also used for landscaping and hedges.  This one is not a great essential oil producer. It grows upright but splays some growth (3ft x 3ft) making a great choice for hedging.  It is very pretty as well as quite fragrant.  Light violet flower spikes sit atop relatively long (12-14 inch) stems. Ideal for crafting and bouquets.  Prefers zones 5-9 and blooms in late spring.  Used in landscaping, culinary, bouquets, potpourri, crafts.

Lavender Fresh Farm has 540 Royal Purple plants because of its beauty and diversity in use.  We harvest this primarily for culinary buds, but the long stems, fragrance, and color make it perfect for fresh and dried bouquets.
