Sensational displays silvery foliage in a compact habit (18 x 30 inches).  Large dense purple flower spikes sit atop sturdy 6-12 inch stems that make ideal for fresh and dried bouquets.  This Lavandin variety has less camphor and is a bit smaller with shorter stems than other varieties of Lavandin.  It is a favorite of pollinators attracting Honeybees, Butterflies, and other nectar-loving creatures.  Uses include cut Flowers, Dried Flowers, Fragrant Mass Plantings, and crafts.  Blooms late spring into fall.

Lavender Fresh Farm has about 600 of this variety that we grow and harvest exclusively for essential oil.   Sensational is one of the Lavandins that our distillers call the “Fantastic Twins” because of the high oil yield.  The other twin is Phenomenal.
