Munstead is a staple lavender in the lavender industry. This lavender has been around forever and has become synonymous with true lavender. Like other older angustifolia lavenders there are cross pollinated versions of the original. This is a smaller midsize lavender with sweetly fragrant flowers that are medium purple that sit atop 6-8 inch stems. Loves zones 5-9 and is a versatile multiuse lavender in the kitchen, craft shop, and garden.
Lavender Fresh Farm grows this lavender specifically for culinary buds. Our farm has about 240 plants in this variety.
